I have been collecting dolls for almost ten years now - and love dolls from many different companies as you can tell from looking at my picturetrail albums. See the home page for the link.

Sewing has been a love for years and when I get the time I do like to sew for the dolls. Some of the results you see here.

I do however have a fulltime job which keeps me busy during the week, during the evenings and even the weekends. Since late 1989 I have been Head of English at Tokomairiro High School in Milton, South Otago, New Zealand. During this time huge changes have taken place in our school system including a marked overhaul of our qualifications system. This all keeps us more than busy!

In 2006 I take on a new position: Specialist Classroom Teacher. I am part of a nationwide trial. Those of us involved are basically 'in charge of the teaching' at our schools. It should be an interesting year :)

Other interests: our cats, reading, film and all sorts of crafts.

There never seem enough hours in the day for everything but I am hoping that this year does see me with some sewing time.
